GDC is proud to announce that we are once again accepting applications for the Glenn Espino Scholarship! This scholarship was created to honor the spirit and memory of Glenn Espino, beloved husband of our long-time GDCer, Lannette Espino. Glenn valued and exemplified loyalty, honesty and service. This scholarship is a fitting memorial to a life well lived.

Who Can Apply

The Glenn Espino Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior who plans to attend a two or four-year college or to a current college student attending a two or four-year higher education program. The applicant must be a child or grandchild of a current or former GDC employee.

The Review Proccess

All applications will be reviewed by a committee including the GDC partners, Glenn’s wife, Lannette and other members of Glenn’s family. This committee reserves the right to split the prize if two exceptional applicants are selected. This year’s scholarship is $5,000.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate a commitment to academics, extracurricular activities and civic engagement. The applicants may also be evaluated on the strength of their demonstrated character.
