GDC Welcomes George Steinwald

George Steinwald comes to GDC after many years of working as a creative leader and designer at some of the largest advertising agencies in the nation, including Leo Burnett and FCB. George brings his leadership skills and experiences developing new engaging audiences to work for GDC’s Clients.

George began his career as an art director and creative with a BA in art communications from Roanoke College and a certification from the Miami Ad School at the Portfolio Center, focusing on Art Direction and Graphic Design. Since he has worked with clients from various fields from insurance to food packaging and pharmaceuticals, some of his clients have included Jim Beam whiskey, Discover, State Farm, Audi, Volkswagen and Black Rifle Coffee.

Throughout his career, in addition to design, George has led teams, implemented social media campaigns, grown businesses, brought products to market, mentored newcomers in the industry and assisted non-profits, including Pediatric Aids Chicago and Prevent Child Abuse America. George has won national and international awards for his work in marketing, including the Hermes International Platinum Award. No matter what he does, George prides himself on always having at least one foot firmly planted in the creative side of advertising. George is passionate about fostering meaningful interactions between customers and all kinds of brands.

When George is not leading our creative teams to create unique content for clients, you can find him spending time with his wife, Amy, their son and their two cats in San Antonio, Texas.
